Founded in 2000, UPSIDE is, at present, one of the main independent financial advisors in Brazil, a position achieved due to its strong performance in structuring of financing and in financial advisory for concession auctions. UPSIDE has been providing services for many public and private companies of infrastructure sector, especially of energy market, with a large experience and solid and unique presence in conducting businesses related to strategic advisory and financial structuring.
Besides acting in Project Finance operations with Development Banks (BNDES, BNB), Constitutional Funds (FCO, FNE, FNO, FDA), and the main private banks, UPSIDE, in international market, has already executed transactions involving Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and the China Development Bank (CDB). UPSIDE has expertise in short-term financing and issuance of infrastructure debentures, among other solutions of structured finance through capital market. We also highlight other competencies, such as valuation, analysis of economic and financial feasibility, due diligence, debt restructuring and corporate finance.
