The tight deadline and low rates of return may limit the number of investor interested in Eletrobras’s 71 stakes in
generation and transmission assets offered for sale. The slices in the special purpose companies (SPEs) amount
to at least R$3.1 billion, and will be auctioned on Thursday on B3. The mostly minority stakes will be sold in 18
lots, of which eight are of wind power generation, with about 1.6 gigawatt, and 10 of power transmission, with an
extension of 2,910 kilometers. The projects are all operational, with long-term contracts and guaranteed cash
generation, without major risks.
