Marinho tries to unleash housing and sanitation plans

Amid a recent strife with Economy Minister Paulo Guedes, the minister of Regional Development, Rogério Marinho, is facing the mission of unleashing already this month the revamp of housing program My House My Life, which will have a new name, and of negotiating the passage of the legal framework for the water and sanitation services, meant to increase the private-sector participation and stuck in the Senate.
Some expect the new housing program, which should have lower
interest rates and focus on the lowest-income bracket and on land regularization, to be announced over the next
few days.
